Here are some of our favourite ideas that will help you make the most of your summer at home this year.
Outdoor Entertaining
Don’t we all love some summer entertaining especially when the entire party moves outdoors. So in order to entertain outdoor, choose a spot that is comfortable and encourages conversation and lingering around. You can place can furniture with a table and add some centre pieces to it to make it look presentable. Place a neutral coloured rug to give a fresh look to the space. For good deals, buy outdoor furniture online.
Tie Dye Pillow Cases
A very fun and easy DIY idea to decorate your home is by tie dying pillow cases. All you have to do is, in a bowl, pour some water and add a dye with the colour of your choice to it and heat it for 15 minutes. In the meantime, take small sections from one side of the pillow and wrap them one after the other in rubber bands to allow some patterns to form. Put this tied up pillow case and place it in the bowl carefully. Let it sit in the bowl for some time and then take it out. Wash the pillow case to rinse any remaining colour, let it dry and then iron it.
Pom Pom Pillowcase
Another easy way to decorate and add a fun element to the pillowcase is by stitching some colourful pom pom trims to the sides of the pillow. These trims can either be in contrast of the colour of the pillow or of the same colour. A hack around this for easy results is to stick the pom pom trims on the pillow case with a hot glue gun.
