1.Wine Bottle Lamp
For this, all you’ll need is an empty glass wine bottle, or a long glass bottle and some fair lights (colour of your choice). All you have to do is, wash the bottle clean, wipe it dry and insert the fairy lights in it. You could also paint the outside of the bottle with glass paints to make it colourful. Now plug it in and enjoy! Buy chandeliers and wall lights to lit up your space brightly.
2. Thread Lamp
This DIY is a little time consuming, but the results are absolutely beautiful. Inflate a balloon according to the size of the lamp you want and tie it up. Not apply a layer of glue (preferably fevicol) over it. Before it starts to dry, wrap a thin reel of thread around the balloon and allow it to dry. To make sure that the thread doesn’t come off, apply another layer of glue and wait to dry. One hard, pop the balloon, insert fair lights in it and hang it up in your bedroom.
3. Mason Jar Lamp
What you’ll need us a mason jar, fairy light and a screwdriver. Make a hole in the lid of the mason jar, and put the fairy lights in it. After having done so, just put the plugin switchboard. Voila! You have yourself a personal lamp. You can also get some home decor accessories online to decorate around the table on which you are going to place your mason jar lamp.
4. Bulbs
Want coloured bulbs for a party or a get-together but can’t afford to buy new ones? Don’t worry! All you have to do is wrap the bulbs up with coloured cellophane paper or paint it with glass paints.

This is one of the easiest DIY hacks for lights if you want to transform your room into a twinkling light fest. All you have to do is either paint the individual caps of fairy lights with glass paint or cover it with translucent coloured tissue paper.
6. DIY Christmas Lights
Buy a chord with tiny bulbs on it. Unscrew the bulbs from the chord, spray paint it silver and golden, screen the back one and there! You have yourself beautiful Christmas lights. You can put this up in the living room or hang it on the Christmas tree.
7. Cat Lights
For this DIY you will require fairy lights, scissors and black chart paper. Cut out small multiple cat face on the black chart paper, make holes for the eyes and insert each fairy light bulb in each eye hole. So when you switch on the lights, it’ll look the eyes are glowing. You can do this with various other animal face cutouts.
8. Hanging Lights
Are you a fan of contemporary interior designs or classic? Irrespective of your style, how about taking an unused metal or wooden rod, suspend it from your ceiling and hang fairy lights of different colours, coloured buntings, woollen strings etc from it? 9. Rope Décor
