Spiced Honey resides in the warm palette of colours and hence has a warm amber tone to it. This colour is inspired by the versatility, simplicity and the beauty of the condiment honey itself. The mood of the colour suggests that it can either be soothing or calming, vibrant or cosy all depending on the palette you decide to pair it with.

The panel that decided to go with Spiced Honey wanted to make 2019 their year, a year to re-energise and move forward with positivity having combined it with purpose, optimism and positive action. Heleen van Gent, the head of the Global Aesthetic Centre who chairs the ColourFuture panel describes the colour as, “Both calming and nourishing or stimulating and energising, depending on the palettes that surround it.”
She also adds, “The contemporary hue is versatile, sophisticated and timeless and lends itself to a broad spectrum of life and interior styles – perfect for reflecting the universal mood encapsulate by the panel.”
The raw and natural hue of Spiced Honey is said to work best as a warm neutral. It is perfect for pairing it with white as well as off-whites to allow the colour to stand out in itself.
The colours because of its versatility will help you reclaim and define the contemporary interior designs as well as the simplest of furniture pieces in your home that have been lost in the background being overpowered by various other things in the room.
